Lac La Biche Pow Wow Days and Fish Derby Beer Gardens
Charlyn will be volunteering as a bartender at the Beer Gardens presented by the Lac La Biche Regional Humane Society on Saturday from 3-6 and Sunday from 1-6. Swing by and say hello!

One-Day Traditional Pow Wow
Four local communities are partnering to host a spectacular Indigenous celebration on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025.
Lac La Biche County, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Heart Lake First Nation and Whitefish Lake First Nation are co-hosting a One-Day Traditional Pow Wow. The event will take place on the Bold Centre Sports Fields in the hamlet of Lac La Biche.
The One-Day Traditional Pow Wow is in honour of the Treaty relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, and in celebration of the Indigenous cultures that have called this region home since time immemorial.
Grand Entry starts at noon!

Lac La Biche Pow Wow Days & Fish Derby Pancake Breakfast
Join us before the parade for a pancake breakfast at the Lac La Biche Heritage Society. Come say hi to mayoral candidate, Charlyn, who will be flipping pancakes!
When: Friday, August 1st, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Where: Lac La Biche Heritage Society, 10112-102 Ave
Cost: $5/person, kids under 5 are free

Join Charlyn at the annual Fish Fry as we celebrate fellow nominated citizens of the year!
When: Thursday, July 31, starting at 5:00 p.m.
Where: McArthur Place
Menu: Fried walley from Northern SK, coleslaw, corn on the cob, buns, and cake
for dessert!
Cost: $15/person; $10 for seniors and kids 10 and under
