I also volunteered with Charlyn has always been so dedicated and put 100s of volunteer hours in. When first worked in the Little Sprouts Board together she always showed up for every fundraiser and encouraged all of us to put the work in. Charlyn is a true inspiration and invaluable community leader! She’d have my vote for Mayor.

Before she was a Councillor, Charlyn was an "Emergency Medical Technician" (EMT). What I know about this profession, she trained to help people when they were hurt or sick in emergencies, like paramedics do. She would require skills to be calm, think fast, and above else, have passion to help others.

I know Charlyn the most from her presence in Lac La Biche County being a Realtor. She has already had your best interest in mind from locating suitable home to, selling your own. She is a strong advocate for people, can see sides through conflict and agreements.

She also has lots of other experiences, like being on important groups that plan how the county grows and makes sure things are fair for everyone, (FMET).

So, when Charlyn is a leader, she uses all these skills: she listens, she understands what people need (because she helped them directly), and she makes smart choices to make the county a better and safer place for everyone who lives there.

She truly cares about her community and works hard to make good things happen.
