Rooted in Community, Ready to Lead

Building Together, Leading Forward

Over the past eight years, I’ve been honoured and grateful to serve as your Ward 5 Councillor for Lac La Biche County. Serving our community has been one of the greatest honours of my life, and I’m immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished together over two terms. Thank you for your support, trust, and for sharing your ideas with me along the way. We’ve made significant progress together, and I am proud of the work we’ve done to improve services, invest in infrastructure and support families.

Lac La Biche is a beautiful, diverse place to live, and not by chance. It takes thoughtful decisions, vision, planning and people who care. I believe in this community and in what we can achieve when we work together.

Why I’m Running for Mayor

I’m running because I believe we need leadership that listens, takes action, and prioritizes people. There have been some significant wins and celebrations for our community, lots to be proud of. We’ve also seen challenges in recent years, including the loss of good staff, shaken trust, and decisions made behind closed doors. Many people feel left out, unheard, or unsure where we’re heading. That’s not okay.

We can’t keep doing things the same way and expect better results. It's time to rebuild trust, grow wisely, and lead with respect.

Over the last eight years, I’ve worked hard to:

  • Maintain high-quality municipal services while ensuring Lac La Biche County remains one of the most affordable communities in the region.

  • Advance major community development projects, including the Sports Fields & Aquatics Centre, Main Street water and sewer refurbishment, McArthur Park redevelopment, and championed the Resident Response Fund: a fund that ensures residents’ needs are addressed year-round without exceeding budget.

  • Invest in infrastructure, from roads and water systems to community centres and stormwater management, all while maintaining strong reserves to support future needs.

  • Represent our residents with transparency and accessibility, always keeping your priorities central in Council decisions.

  • Earn Lac La Biche County a seat at Provincial and Federal Boards so that our unique position as a Specialized Municipality can be shared.

Looking Ahead

As your Mayor, I’ll lead with fairness, transparency, and respect. I’ll work with Council and the CAO to set the tone for a workplace where people feel heard and valued. A strong, healthy staff team means better services for you.

Together, we will:

  • Strengthening affordability for families facing rising costs.  Partnering with stakeholders to address our housing shortage with solutions that are local, practical and affordable.

  • Foster the Lac La Biche community values that have built who we are while improving engagement, so residents feel heard in the early process, not after decisions have already been made.

  • Managing growth strategically, so that our infrastructure, services, and natural spaces grow in balance with our expectations and values.

This election matters. Not just for today — but for the Lac La Biche our kids and grandkids will grow up in.

My promise is simple: to lead with heart, integrity, and common sense. I’ll show up, listen, and stand up for what’s right.

If you're ready for respectful leadership, strong teamwork, and a better future, I’d be honoured to earn your vote.

Let’s Keep the Conversation Going

As I launch this campaign, I want to hear from you. Your ideas, concerns, and feedback matter, and they shape the decisions made at Council.

Thank you for your support, your trust, and every conversation that has made this work meaningful so far. I look forward to connecting with you in the coming months, whether at your doorstep, at community events, or over a cup of coffee.

If you are ready for respectful leadership, strong teamwork and a better future, I'd be honoured to earn your vote.

Let’s continue to build a community we’re proud to call home.

Building Capacity. Strengthening Community. Expanding Our Future.
